Hello! I’m Becca, a Freelance Illustrator, originally from the beautiful Lake District. I’m all about bringing joy through my work, and I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with a diverse range of commercial and individual clients on some truly exciting projects.
I graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2014, where I received a First Class Honours Degree, and the Alumni award for illustration, and have been working freelance ever since.
After spending six amazing years back home in the Lake District, I finally decided to chase my lifelong dream of living in Cornwall. So, in the spring of 2020, I packed my bags, said goodbye to the rolling fells, and set up my creative den in this coastal paradise with my 2 Border Terriers, Pippa & Evie!
I’ve got a thing for nature, which often finds its way into my artwork. Growing up in the Lakes, and now living in Cornwall, has only spurred that on further, and I am constantly finding inspiration from the natural world around me.
You’ll find a mix of traditional and digital creations in my portfolio, as I love to explore illustration both on paper and on my iPad.
Over the years, I’ve worked on an array of projects, including illustrated maps, product and packaging illustrations, branding, book illustrations, website art, and even adorable pet portraits. I have also set up my own range of giftware which I sell online, and through shops around the UK.
In January 2021, I took a leap and set up a Patreon Page. It’s become a hub where I share monthly tutorial videos, offering a behind-the-scenes peek into my creative process. Plus, I host live Zoom drawing sessions for those looking to join me in the artistic adventure.
